Apex Legends: Saviors Returns to Storm Point, Massive Creature's Dead Body New POI

Apex Legends: Savior is the thirteenth season for the battle royale, and Respawn has decided to return to Storm Point with new changes. The island has been attacked by a massive sea creature that has altered the island in more ways than one. Just by its mere presence and seismic activity, IMC Armories have appeared across the map, giving players a new way to earn loot.

And after the Legends teamed up and destroyed the monster, it has now become a POI. Just like in King's Canyon, the Ecological Cleanup and Hazard Outreach has arrived on the island to remove the creature, but it's going to take some time. So instead, the game will continue even with a massive dead sea creature on the beach. This new POI will have high-tier loot with three nearby rotations: North Pad, Checkpoint, and The Mill. One of the many ECHO buildings and platforms will have loot, but most of it will be inside the creature itself.

Apex Legends IMC Armories

Besides a new POI, Respawn introduced an entirely new system: IMC Armories. Described as "combat support structures," these buildings were buried underground until the latest creature attacked the island and the seismic threat caused them to emerge. Players will have the opportunity to explore them across the map of Storm Point choosing to take their high-risk-high-reward loot. When you approach the bunkers, the ramp will automatically allow entry, and inside you'll find valuable weapons and loot. Push a button and you'll have to survive 60 seconds of waves of Spectres.

If you are worried about third-partying, Respawn created a solution. When you activate the scenario, the doors lock and the ramp shuts down, protecting you from an outside threat. This should give players the chance to fight the Spectres without having to deal with enemy squads. The longer you survive, the better loot that drops including a new style of loot, called "smart loot." This loot will be catered to items missing from your loadout like certain attachments and armor upgrades.

Apex Legends: Saviors Quality of Life Updates

Respawn has used toe data and feedback from the community to continue to approve their largest map. Some of the biggest focuses have been on the different wildlife spots around the map, either designing the space around the creatures better or even adding different terrain. This should make the map feel tighter and more enjoyable.

Apex Legends: Saviors arrives May 10.
