Now that the next era of Call of Duty appears to be starting shortly, it's perhaps no surprise that many are concerned about what this means for Warzone 1, Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare. As such, here's a breakdown of whether or not you can still play Rebirth Island after Warzone 2's release.
Can You Still Play Rebirth Island After Warzone 2's Release?
Unfortunately, at the time of publication, there have yet to be any leaks or announcements revealing specific details about the future plans for Warzone and Rebirth Island.

Thus far in the Modern Warfare II, Warzone 2.0 and Warzone Mobile promotional trail, Activision and Infinity Ward have been very tight-lipped about the future of its original hit battle royale title aside from the fact that Warzone 1 will continue as a separate experience that will include a continuation of player progression and inventories within itself.
As such, those who want to continue playing Warzone 1 should have no fear as it appears the game will continue to receive some level of support for the foreseeable future.
As for the case of Rebirth Island itself, fans of the original Resurgence map have notably received the short end of the stick from Raven Software in recent weeks, but it'd be shocking if the map were to ever go out of the rotation at this point.
Ultimately, Infinity Ward did mention that they will announce more information on the original Warzone in the weeks ahead.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Battle.net and Steam) on Nov. 16, 2022.
