Pirates. That's right, pirates. In case the word 'plunder' wasn't a clear enough indication, pirates are the main thematic force behind Destiny's 18th season.
The Fallen Kell Eramis has been reawakened to provide the conflict in this brand new season of Destiny 2, which debuted yesterday Aug. 23. Guardians will not only witness, as she and the swarthy swashbuckling aliens she has employed sail through the stars, overturning space ships for their precious booty, they'll fight back. Perhaps, they'll even award themselves some booty, this season in the form of powerful relics.
Destiny 2 Season of Plunder Details
Season of plunder features several new pirate-themed activities for Guardians to take part in. Whether it be piloting a ship to stop Eramis' galactic advances in Ketchcrash, raiding for treasure in Expedition, or taking it right from under the noses of enemy marauders in Pirate Hideout weekly challenges, the new season is packed with action enough for even a land lubber to enjoy.
Season of plunder also features new rewards in the form of exotic new weapons, outfits influenced by pirate regalia, and the return of the OG King's Fall raid.
