The FC 24 Double Walkout pack animation is one of the many new features in Ultimate Team this year. EA Sports took considerable steps to change how Ultimate Team looks this year in a new era after parting ways with FIFA.
There's no feeling quite like packing a walkout in FIFA/FC Ultimate Team. A walkout is traditionally a player 86 rated or higher. Over the years, pack animations have changed for the better and worse. Take FIFA 19 for example where it was extremely easy to tell when you packed a walkout. The EA Sports logo lit up on the stage before the animation fully began letting you know that a big player was about to appear. This year, however, players are having a hard time determining whether or not you have a walkout coming.
Though, one of the newer features is the ability to have a double walkout animation. The lower rated walkout first appears in front of their card with the second player coming out shortly after only to reveal a different card behind the first. But, is a triple walkout pack animation possible?
FC 24 Double Walkouts Are Possible, But Are Triple Walkouts?
Now, let's clarify something here. It's perfectly possible to pack three walkouts in one pack, but the game itself doesn't have a special pack animation for three separate players and cards during the opening.
Despite the player base still trying to figure out whether or not cards are walkouts to begin with, EA Sports has done a good job to indicate when you pack a special card. Using Road to the Knockouts cards as an example, the first flair on the shield will be the color of whatever special card you are opening like orange for Europa League RTTK. Also, there have been viral clips going around of players packing a top tier card like Lionel Messi only to reveal an Icon behind it. In that situation, the Rare Gold card appeared first with a special silver flair behind it to indicate an Icon was the double walkout.
How to Tell if You Packed a Walkout in EA FC 24
It would be great to see EA Sports add an update to the pack animation for triple walkouts making the excitement last longer, but fans probably want just a surefire way to tell if a walkout is in the pack. It's arguably easier to know you have a double walkout than a single walkout.
Most tells have been debunked regarding spotlight strength, certain light flairs and more. There's the possibility that EA Sports has messed something up on the backend, so keep an eye out for future Title Updates.
