Icons historically are some of the most sought after players in FIFA Ultimate Team. Icons, in FIFA 23, have multiple versions released throughout the year. Traditional versions include Base, Middle and Prime, but EA Sports introduced Campaign Icons this year first shown with World Cup Icons. Base Icons recently left packs when Prime Icons were released in the buildup to Winter Wildcards. There are still some top tier Base Icons that players can pack and use in their squads.

Here's how to complete the FIFA 23 Base Icon Player Pick SBC:

- 87 Rated Players or Higher: Min. 1
- Squad Rating: 85
- No Chemistry Requirement
- Players in the Squad: 11
- REWARD: Small Prime Gold Players Pack
Segment 2
- 88 Rated Players or Higher: Min. 1
- Squad Rating: 86
- No Chemistry Requirement
- Players in the Squad: 11
- REWARD: Premium Gold Players Pack
Not a terrible price for this SBC considering players can only get Base Icons. The Player Pick, once completed, contains three choices to choose from. The segment requirements aren't too intensive as well not requiring any special item type like a Team of the Week card. The SBC is limited-repeatable and will refresh in four days before the segment expires in six days.
