Fortnite WILDS is finally coming to a close as the season's big crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen wraps up the jungle-inspired Chapter 4 Season 3. Despite the dream crossover, the season left a lot to be desired, and fans cannot wait for the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4.
Epic Games has released teasers throughout the week hinting at the season's Battle Pass skins and even a crossover with TikTok star, Khaby Lame. Plus, the map is set to receive some much-needed updates to the medieval biome in the coming days.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 starts on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023. The new season will replace Fortnite WILDS after an extended downtime that will begin around 2 a.m. ET.
Without a live event to usher in the new season, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will simply be uploaded to the servers and be ready to play once the update goes live. If a Fortnite live event is coming in 2023, it will likely be to launch Fortnite Chapter 5 with a new map after Dr. Slone possibly destroys the current one.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Map Changes
The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 map will exhibit some significant changes according to recent leaks. Three new POIs are coming, each likely containing their own Vault and NPC boss. With a handful of Mythic weapons returning, including Midas' Drum Gun, players will have to break into the Vaults to obtain the overpowered guns.
One of the leaked POIs, called Eclipsed Estate, is said to be replacing The Citadel. The medieval biome of the map could finally be receiving an overhaul to match the heist and blood moon themes coming in Chapter 4 Season 4.
The three POIs also all contain elements of a desert biome, including sand and palm trees, so we would not be surprised if the desert comes back to Fortnite to contrast the snow and the Fortnite WILDS jungle.
