Wondering how to get scrolls in V Rising? Here's what you need to know.
In V Rising, players awaken as a vampire who needs to prey on nearby human settlements in order to regain their strength and survive. With the game utilizing crafting as a main mechanic, you'll soon come across some valuable materials and resources. If you're looking to expand your list of technology, then you'll need to be on the look out for scrolls.
Scrolls in V Rising can be found as loot and also crafted. Below, we've detailed how to do both.
Where to Find Scrolls in V Rising
If you're hunting for scrolls, the best place to start is the Farmlands region. Here, you'll be able to find them in nearly every human settlement, such as:
- Militia Encampments
- Dunley Monastery
- Dawnbreak Village
These areas are usually brimming with chests, breakable objects, and enemies â all of which have the chance to drop scrolls as loot. When fighting enemies, look for those that are level 35 or up.
How to Craft Scrolls in V Rising
Another method to obtain scrolls is to craft them yourself, though there are a few prerequisites to take care of before you can. First, you'll need to have gathered a total of 75 scrolls to unlock the Paper Press technology.
After this, you'll need to defeat Frostmaw, the Mountain Terror to get the Scroll crafting recipe. Needless to say this isn't something you'll be able to do right out of the gate. Frostmaw is a level 56 enemy, so plan you're tactics accordingly.
Once defeated, and the Printing Press crafted, you'll be able to make your own scrolls. The ingredients you'll need are:
- 12 Gem Dust
- 4Â Paper
To craft the paper, you'll need:
- 4 Plant Fiber
- 12 Sawdust
And that's all there is to it. Once you've gathered the necessary materials you'll be able to produce as many scrolls as you need.
V Rising is available now, in early access, on Microsoft Windows.
