As initially announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, Ara: History Untold is a turn-based, historical grand strategy game coming soon to PC. As such, players are wondering whether or not the game will also be coming to Microsoft's ever-popular gaming subscription service. Here's the breakdown of whether or not Ara: History Untold will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Ara: History Untold will indeed be available on day one with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Spearheaded by the efforts of developer Oxide Games and publisher Xbox Game Studios, invites players to "build and lead a nation throughout global history as they explore new lands, develop arts and culture, conduct diplomacy and go head-to-head with rivals to prove they are the greatest leader ever known."
As touched on earlier, the game was just announced during Summer Game Fest, complete with a gameplay trailer. Although no official release date was shared, Microsoft said at the top of the show that all games in its Sunday event, including Ara: History Untold, would be playable in the "next 12 months."
According to Xbox's infographic, it appears Ara: History Untold is targeted for a 2023 release.
Ultimately, Ara: History Untold appears to be a title worth keeping an eye on for any 4X fans out there, in addition to Humankind.
