The reveal date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer has just been leaked. According to Tom Henderson, the reveal will be shown sometime in September, though a specific date beyond that is not yet known.
Back in February 2022, Activision Blizzard announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would be receiving a reboot similar to the 2019 re-release of the original Modern Warfare. Alongside Modern Warfare 2 is also a new version of the hit battle royale FPS Call of Duty: Warzone. Despite revamps to Warzone, many fans are still anticipating information regarding the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer experience present in this new version of Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Reveal Date Leaked
Tom Henderson revealed that the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer reveal would be happening sometime in September 2022. The leak also anticipates the multiplayer beta to be available later that same month. Despite the multiplayer announcement being incredibly close to the game's release date, October 28, Henderson says that the marketing will dramatically ramp up as the game gets closer to release.
While Henderson also cannot confirm how the announcement will take place, he anticipates it to be through a livestream featuring developer interviews.
