Pokimane blasts Bowblax for 'dumb take' after he accuses Twitch queen of posting 'sexualizing' content

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pokimane, recently clapped back at Canadian YouTuber Bowblax for his "dumb take."

Canadian YouTuber Bowblax is well-known for his drama-based videos in which he covers recent occurrences in the Twitch or YouTube communities. He is the main host of the 'RFC After Hours' podcast.

Bowblax accused Pokimane os sharing "sexualizing" content on X.

Pokimane responds to Bowblax's criticism

Bowblax was commenting on a YouTube Short, 'How to Eat a Banana as a Female Streamer', which Pokimane published on her channel, PokimaneToo.

BowBlax tweeted, "Poki complains about incel teenagers sexualizing her and then uploads this s**t to her YouTube channel."

Pokimane responded to the remark earlier on Sunday, September 3, accusing him of ignoring the main elements of the 30-second video by not watching it.

She stated, "So happy to see dumb takes like this getting cooked in the quote RTs (quote retweets)."

She added, "Ironically, the clip is about how I turn off the camera every time I take a bite. He couldn’t even watch a 30s clip, which ends up being a joke, before angrily tweeting, lol."

Bowblax regrets his Tweet about Pokimane

A few hours later, Bowblax tweeted again, admitting his mistake. The YouTuber outlined his initial interpretation of the video, saying, "Okay, I f****d up here."

He added, "I saw this on my shorts feed and thought it was one of those weird "Pokimane is hot" type videos from a clip channel because of the title, then was surprised when it was from Poki herself so I tweeted about it without watching the full short."

Bowblax went on to state that he would not take down his earlier tweet because he did not want to "avoid criticism" or "cover up" his errors. He added that he "didn't hate" Pokimane.

He said, "I'm gonna leave the tweet up cause I don't wanna hide from criticism or cover up my mistakes."

He added, "I have an issue with tweeting to impulsively and getting into trouble. I don't hate Pokimane, I was just annoyed at the idea that she would play into what she speaks out against."
