LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mira, a well-known Twitch broadcaster from Russia with over 444,000 followers, has been banned from the service after being accused of breaking the Twitch community rules.
Aside from her reputation for playing a broad range of games like Grand Theft Auto 5, Dota 2, Fortnite, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and others, Mira's success on Twitch may be credited to her fun streams like Just Chatting, IRL, Pools, Hot Tubs, and Beaches.

Why was she banned?
One of the most well-known female streamers to receive a Twitch ban is Mira, who made news last year for dealing with an unsettling stalker scenario. Although Mira's most recent suspension hasn't been given a particular explanation, it's important to note that she has previously been banned for violating Twitch's community standards on nudity. This is Mira's sixth ban from the platform, with the longest penalty lasting four days, according to Streamer Bans.
Mira had three Twitch bans in 2022 alone, and this most recent ban is her second account suspension of the year. How Mira will respond and how long this most recent ban will continue are yet unknown. It's interesting to note that during a prior suspension, Mira criticized Twitch for encouraging misogyny on its platform by criticizing women's bodies while ignoring men who openly flaunted their bodies on camera.
Twitch bans famous streamers
Not all female Twitch streamers have recently been banned, including Mira. On May 4, Twitch revealed that Amouranth, one of the most popular female broadcasters, had been suspended. One day later, Twitch changed its mind and allowed Amouranth's channel to return to the service. However, Mira's bans, which have never exceeded four days, have a good chance of being lifted shortly as well.
