Wondering when Valorant's 4.08 patch, and Jett's nerfs, will go live? Here's what you need to know.
Valorant fans are understandably a little bit curious as to what the upcoming 4.08 patch holds. Riot Games recently revealed that the update will be including some nerfs to popular agent Jett.
The main change that players will see is that to her Signature Ability - Tailwind. According the the devs, Jett's Tailwind has proven difficult to strategize against considering her ability essentially gives her an instant escape from nearly any situation. Other Agents didn't possess the "tools" to handle her.
In the upcoming patch, the following changes to Tailwind will be added:
- On pressing the ability key, after a short delay Jett activates a 12 second window where she is empowered to immediately dash on next button press.
- Her Tailwind charge is lost whether she dashes or the window expire, but can still be regained with two kills.
Other updates have yet to be fully revealed, but players can likely expect some general bug and stability fixes.
So, when does this next patch go live?
When Does the Valorant 4.08 Patch Go Live?
Valorant's 4.08 update is set to go live on Tuesday, April 26.
Players might experience a bit of downtime in preparation for the update's rollout, with possible server problems shortly after.
There's only a few days to go for Jett mains to use the Agent pre-nerf. There's also the chance that other Agents could see some minor balance changes as well, though that has yet to be confirmed by Riot.
