With Fortnite Wilds set to release tomorrow, fans want to know exactly when downtime begins for the new update.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 is bringing a jungle biome to the current map. The new area will most likely sit between the west medieval portion of the map and MEGA City. Epic Games' teaser revealed a sunken forest with a large temple as a possible new POI.
The season will also hit Fortnite Ranked with some major adjustments. At some point, ranks will reset, and the threshold for ranking up in Elite and Champion will be increased. Fortunately, Ranked Urgent Quest progress will be preserved.
So, when will the servers officially go down to prepare for v25.00?
When is Fortnite WILDS Server Downtime?
Fortnite WILDS server downtime begins on June 9 at 2 a.m. ET. Matchmaking will be disabled prior to the downtime.
FortniteStatus cautions, "Please note patch sizes will be larger than usual for some platforms." Fortnite patches typically only take one-two hours to upload to the servers, but expect v25.00 to take longer.
Not only will the update come with an altered map, but there will also be a new Battle Pass, featuring Optimus Prime and other tropical-themed characters. According to recent leaks, the "secret" Battle Pass skin is Purradise Meowscles.
