The Warzone Shadow Siege Event unfolds tomorrow, and players will be able to earn free rewards as they await the MW3 reveal.
Although Activision finally announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, a lot about the game is still unconfirmed. Thanks to leaks, we know Modern Warfare 3 will reportedly feature slide cancelling, a classic mini map with red dots, and 150HP. Plus, all the maps available at launch will be remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps.
Despite all the rumors, any major gameplay reveals have been kept under wraps by the developers. Now, fans will finally get a chance to get a first look at the next Call of Duty title, set to release on Nov. 10, 2023, in Warzone.
Warzone MW3 Reveal Shadow Siege Event: How to Play
Fans can play the Warzone Shadow Siege Event to get a first look at MW3. Players can form four-person teams and drop into Warzone shortly before the event begins. Although most of the intel surrounding the logistics of the event are classified, fans can expect to team up with Shadow Company to take on Konni forces.
The main objective of the event is to secure chemical weapons before it is too late. Before you and your squad spawn in, though, make sure you have downloaded the newest patch update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. You will not be able to load into the event without being on the latest patch. The update is around 2.8GB for all platforms.
Warzone MW3 Reveal Shadow Siege Event: Rewards
Players who participate in the Warzone MW3 Reveal Shadow Siege Event can earn the following free rewards:
- Battle Token Tier Skip
- Konni Group Emblem
- Crimson Sound Calling Card
- Serpent Slayer Vehicle Skin
- Gas Canister Charm
- M13C Assault Rifle
The rewards will carry over from Modern Warfare 2 to Modern Warfare 3 come November 2023.
What Time Does Warzone Shadow Siege Start?
The Warzone Shadow Siege Event starts at 1:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 17. Shadow Siege is a limited-time event, so make sure to participate in the event as early as possible. It will not be available to play forever.
Players can load into Warzone an hour before the event begins (12:30 p.m. ET) to earn Double XP.
